Over 50 Years of Missionary Work
The Great Commission, Inc., is a non-profit mission organization dedicated to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, planting churches, and making disciples in Ghana, West Africa. As part of this ministry, The Great Commisison, Inc., also works with our partners in Ghana to provide educational and medical resources to the people of Ghana. Founded by Emmanuel Dorgbadzi in the 1970s, we continue his work of caring for people holistically through our partnership with The Bryant Mission in Ghana.
Our Roots Run Deep
The Great Commission Inc. was founded by a Ghanaian man named Emmanuel Dorgbadzi who was born in the Volta Region of Ghana. He came to the United States and met his wife Patricia Dorgbadzi. Emmanuel planted churches and was our visionary, president, and leader until his death in 2008. After that, Patricia took over and was the president and leader until her death in 2021. Today, the Board of Directors, in partnership with The Bryant Mission, continues Emmanuel and Pat’s work for the glory of God and the people of Ghana.
